Hall Sensor magnetic power switch

Perfect solution to build a water proof switch:

Hallsw Power Switch:

Solid State Hall Sensor input.
Operates from 3V to 25V.
Can switch (low side n-chan power FET) up to 15A.
Can be used as a momentary action switch for any TaskLED "flex" driver (e.g. maxflex, h6flex etc).
Very low on resistance (typically 6 milliohms).
Very low quiescent current (typically 60uA, less than 0.05 amp.hour per month drain).
Compact size (0.55" x 0.425"). Maximum thickness 0.115".
Can be mounted with supplied thermal adhesive tape to the inside of a waterproof metal housing (non-magnetic).
Protected against reverse polarity connection

Hall Sensors are solid state devices that sense a magnetic field. The Hall Sensor on the Hallsw board provides all the circuitry necessary to provide a switch action. Apply a magnetic field (small magnet) of sufficient strength and the correct orientation and the power FET will switch on, remove the magnetic field and the power FET will switch off.

Note: the Hallsw is NOT waterproof, it needs to be installed in a waterproof housing, potted or coated in a waterproof sealant.
