Core Capabilities

• Embedded Firmware Development — 32-bit STM32 ARM Cortex-M and 8-bit Microchip/Atmel AVR microcontrollers, including bare-metal and FreeRTOS applications, peripheral drivers, interrupt-driven systems, state machines and real-time control.

• STM32 Development Toolchains — VS Code, CMake, GCC/Arm GNU Toolchain, STM32CubeMX/HAL, GDB/Cortex-Debug, plus experience with Keil µVision environments.

• Microchip/Atmel AVR Development — Extensive familiarity with 8-bit AVR microcontrollers and Microchip Studio (formerly Atmel Studio), including resource-efficient embedded control applications and LED driver/control systems.

• Electronic Hardware & PCB Design — Schematic design, component selection, multilayer PCB design, prototype bring-up, debugging and design-for-production.

• Communications & Interfaces — CAN bus, BLE, UART, SPI, I²C, QSPI, NFC and custom embedded communications protocols.

• CAN Bus Engineering — Protocol analysis, reverse engineering, message decoding, PC-based bus emulation and development of embedded CAN applications.

• Bootloaders & Firmware Update Systems — Custom bootloaders, external Flash management, CRC/image validation, OTA firmware transfer and robust firmware installation.

• Sensors & Signal Processing — IMUs, accelerometers/gyroscopes, ambient sensing, filtering, calibration and development of real-world detection algorithms.

• LED Lighting & Control Systems — Embedded LED driver and lighting-control development, PWM and analog intensity control, multi-channel lighting systems and application-specific lighting behavior.

• BLE & Mobile Integration — Embedded BLE protocols and Android applications for device configuration, diagnostics, control and firmware updates.

• Prototype & Test Engineering — Hardware bring-up, instrumentation, data logging, automated test utilities, fault isolation and development of engineering test tools.

• Product Development & Troubleshooting — System-level investigation spanning hardware, firmware and software when the problem doesn't fit neatly into one discipline.

Experience includes automotive and motorcycle electronics, LED lighting and control systems, wireless configuration, inertial sensing, NFC/RF PCB design and connected embedded products.

LED drivers to suit single, multiple and COB LED loads. 1W to 150W driver designs, with or without software control.

For Custom designs, TaskLED utilises the Diptrace CAD tool end to end for all PCB aspects. Prototypes assembled for final customer approval. Schematics and Layout provided in Diptrace format. Certain other CAD formats can be exported from Diptrace as supported. Gerber files, BOM, pick-place files provided as required.
